The Problem We Saw

After years of working in veterinary clinics, we noticed a recurring pattern: worried pet owners, family members, friends, neighbours calling after hours, unsure if their pet's symptoms warranted an emergency visit or could wait until morning. Parents losing sleep over a coughing dog. First-time pet owners panicking over completely normal behaviours.

On the flip side, we also saw pets brought in too late because their owners didn't recognise the early warning signs of something serious.

The gap was guidance: something reliable enough to tell an owner whether this needs a vet tonight. Not to replace the vet, but to help owners know when they need one.

Decades of Real Experience

Our founding team covers emergency and critical care, general practice, and animal welfare. We have worked the overnight shifts, answered the panicked phone calls, and celebrated the recoveries.

Pet Panic Button isn't backed by venture capital or built by a faceless corporation. We're a family team who genuinely care about animals and the people who love them.

We built this because a worried owner should be able to get a straight answer at 2am as easily as at 2pm. Less unnecessary panic, and pets who need urgent care getting it in time.

Pet Panic Button is an Australian and Swiss partnership, developed jointly on the Gold Coast, Queensland and in Switzerland. The veterinary experience is Australian; the engineering is Swiss.
